CREATING APPLICATION FOR DETECTING MOVEMENT IN A ROOM WITH STATIONARY CAMERA IN MATHEMATICA 8, WHICH WILL REPORT STATUS OF MOVEMENT (CRITERION OF AMOUNT OF MOVEMENTS – THE COEFFICIENT OF VARIATION)

With the help of the computer algebra system Mathematica 8 created at application for detecting movement in a room with a stationary camera. This application in real time with detecting movements will show you message of movement’s type – small or large. A text message is accompanied by a corresponding audio signal. The application allows the user to make your settings - what kind of movement it will take a significant. The created application – a kind of virtual instrument for the detection of motion. Function of measuring the amount of movement – the coefficient of variation , where the average value of the pixel in the frame, – the standard deviation, – color of the pixel (0 or 1) in analyzed frame. The article also gives an overview of works devoted to the detection of motion in a room with a stationary camera.
